@e2ek1elEs212 Thanks for the question! You most likely will not fail if the car jerks around a little, but keep in mind that the evaluator wants to see that you have good control of the vehicle. Also, you must take a hand off the wheel to shift gears, and the evaluator knows this. Good luck!

hey im taking my test in a stick shift car. would you happen to know if i would fail if the car jerks around a little bit or rolls on hills? also do you know if i have to use two hands on the wheel between shifts (between 1st gear and 2nd gear for instance)??thanks for your help!

  3. JCDrivingSchool says:

@glenncesar Yes that’s correct. You’re looking for the rear bumper of the car that will be in front of you once you are in the space.

hi there! great video! just a question though when it said “once you can see the bumper of the CAR through the passenger window” does that CAR means the car that will be in front of you once parked? thank you very much! am just willing to learn. cheers!

OMG I PASSED!! my very first attempt. I did so well the dmv lady asked if i used park assist thingy (which i dont have at all for my car) Thank u!

  6. Gojeno626 says:

do not turn your steering wheel while the car is not in motion because if you do so then it is dry steering.

@beachcrazy93 In Georgia, the parallel parking dimensions are 22′ X 10′. You can use as many cones as you need to clearly view the space. You can use any objects really, just make sure you measure out the correct distances. Hope this helps!

  8. beachcrazy93 says:

When practicing to parallel park how do you set up the cones and also how many cones would you need?

lol that’s nothing, my DPS office (They do the driving test for me since I’m 19), has a WAY WAY bigger gap than that.
