@FaaumuPride There wasn’t one on the 97, that came standard on the vehicle.
heyy guys , ur videos ROCKK . . but i noticed that my air has been kind of sluggish [i guess] && i was wondering does a 97 ford expedition havee a Cabin Filter ? and if so , can yu create a video or at least tell me what i would need and the location ? thankss (:
@1aauto Thanks again, I did some research and found out GM cheaped out on 2003-2006 trucks. I have lots of problems with my heater/AC. I think the resister is gone now.
@plastite Hey Jim, on your 2003 Chevy discontinued the cabin filter due to a redesign in the HVAC system. The service manuals may say that there is a replacement for your vehicle, but there isn’t.
Hope this helps you out.
Thanks for the info. My 2003 GMC is all different. I can`t seem to find where to change the cabin filter. Jim
very helpful.. thank you ..
2000 silverado
@chevys10lord LOL yes that will make it interesting.
well my 2002 silverado is used as a work truck for a drywall company and its never been changed in its life andthat is going to make a big mess!
excellent video thanks for your help !!!
@1aauto THANKS FOR THE REPLY! Ok, is it in the same location as the one in this video? I sure hope you’re right because I’ve had to argue up and down with people about my truck having an in-line fuel filter. Even had a couple people crawl under it to look for themselves!! LOL! And yes, they crawled right back out, dirty, and admitting I was right. (That’s the funny part!) I was told the fuel filter is in the tank and it gets changed with the fuel pump……I’ll be checking on the cabin filter.
@231MasseyFerguson Yes your truck has one, it filters the air coming in to the passenger compartment. We lived for years without them but they do improve air quality in the car. If you have not changed yours in a long time/ever you will probably notice your fan blows stronger after you do change it.
